How we started
The Olive Tree Mediterranean Food Products is a speciality foods company based in Malta. Founded by a group of people with a common vision of producing the same high quality foods consumed traditionally as part of the Mediterranean diet, the company has grown to become one of the leading producers and exporters of olives, olive oil, and other related products.
The firm's highly qualified team operates from its headquarters in Malta and from its branch offices in Italy. The Olive Tree firmly believes that by producing authentic Mediterranean food products for consumers abroad it can help them enjoy what they are missing back home.

Craftsmanship
Our olive oil is produced by using only the best quality olives and extracts. We do it using the authentic methods of production. Our producing processes are natural and slow so as to ensure authenticity and freshness. On top of this, we use EU approved harvesting equipment to ensure that only ripe olives are used according to regulations.
In order to produce the best olive oil, we have invested heavily in our extraction equipment, storage facilities and lab facilities. Furthermore, we test our oils on a regular basis against international standards. Our unique processes include cold maceration which allows us to preserve more delicate characteristics of the olives while still allowing them to release their essential oils during fermentation. This method also helps to retain more vitamins and nutrients in the final product. The result is an organic extra virgin olive oil with a deep green color that has a floral aroma with hints of black pepper and almonds.
